The Riverspace team partnered with a private property owner to create a mural in the alleyway. Minneapolis-based illustrator and muralist, Shawn McCann was selected by Middle Fork owners, Cindy Sinsaas and Suzanne Ziebarth to create a whimsical depiction of the river and its inhabitants. Shawn also spent time discussing his life as an illustrator with the local painting group, Creating Art Together, and brought them gifts of his illustrated books.
